Chapter One היא אפליקציית יומן רגשי למסעות הריון ופונדקאות, המשותפת בין בני/בנות זוג ("האפליקציה" או "השירות"). אנו יודעים שהתכנים שאתם כותבים הם מהאישיים ביותר שיש - ולכן הפרטיות שלכם היא בליבת השירות. מדיניות זו מסבירה איזה מידע נאסף, לאילו מטרות, עם מי הוא משותף, כמה זמן הוא נשמר, ומהן זכויותיכם. מדיניות זו מהווה חלק בלתי נפרד מתנאי השימוש.
מסירת המידע תלויה ברצונכם החופשי - אינכם חייבים למסור מידע, אך בלעדיו לא ניתן יהיה לספק חלק מהשירות או את כולו.

שימו לב: מטבע השירות, תכני היומן עשויים לכלול מידע רגיש - ובכלל זה מידע על מצב רפואי, הריון, פוריות ומצב רגשי. מידע זה נשמר אך ורק כדי להציג לכם (ולשותפכם, אם בחרתם לשתף) את התכנים שכתבתם, ואיננו עושים בו כל שימוש אחר.
אנחנו לא אוספים מיקום, לא מציגים פרסומות, לא עושים שימוש במידע לצורכי שיווק ממוקד, ולא מוכרים או משכירים מידע אישי לאף גורם.
רשומות שסימנתם "משותף" נראות לבן/בת הזוג בקבוצה שלכם. רשומות שסימנתם "רק אני" נשארות פרטיות לחלוטין - גם בן/בת הזוג אינם רואים אותן. לאחר ששיתפתם רשומה והשותף צפה בה, ייתכן שלא ניתן יהיה למנוע בפועל את חשיפת תוכנה.
המידע מאוחסן ומעובד בשירותי Firebase של Google (אימות, מסד נתונים Cloud Firestore, אחסון Cloud Storage, והתראות FCM), בתשתית מאובטחת. Google פועלת כמעבדת מידע עבורנו בלבד, בכפוף למדיניות הפרטיות של Firebase. אם נרשמתם באמצעות Google או Apple, ספקי ההתחברות מעבדים את פרטי ההזדהות בהתאם למדיניותם. מלבד אלה - איננו מעבירים מידע אישי לצדדים שלישיים, למעט אם נידרש על פי דין, צו שיפוטי, או לשם הגנה על זכויותינו או על בטיחות המשתמשים.
יועצי AI (בינה מלאכותית). אם תבחרו להשתמש ביועצי ה-AI, ההודעות שלכם - יחד עם הקשר רלוונטי מהמסע שלכם (פרטי המסע, הרשומות שלכם, ורשומות שבן/בת הזוג סימנו "משותף"; לעולם לא רשומות פרטיות של השותף) - נשלחות לספק ה-AI, חברת Anthropic, PBC, אך ורק כדי להפיק את התשובה. Anthropic פועלת כמעבדת מידע עבורנו בלבד, אינה עושה שימוש בתוכן זה לאימון המודלים שלה, ושומרת אותו לפרק זמן מוגבל בלבד בהתאם לתנאי ה-API שלה. שימו לב: אם תפעילו את יועצי ה-AI על התוכן שלכם, גם רשומות שסימנתם "רק אני" עשויות להישלח לספק ה-AI לצורך הפקת התשובה - הן נותרות בלתי נראות לבן/בת הזוג, אך אינן "נשמרות אצלכם בלבד" בזמן השימוש ב-AI. השימוש ביועצי ה-AI הוא רשות; אם לא תשתמשו בהם - דבר מתוכנכם אינו נשלח לספק ה-AI.
מנויים בתשלום. אם תרכשו מנוי, אנו נעזרים ב-RevenueCat, Inc. כספק תשתית לניהול מנויים ואימות רכישות. RevenueCat מקבלת מזהה משתמש ומזהי עסקה מהחנות כדי לנהל את סטטוס המנוי שלכם, ופועלת כמעבדת מידע עבורנו בלבד. החיוב עצמו מתבצע על ידי Apple App Store או Google Play בהתאם למדיניות הפרטיות שלהן; פרטי אמצעי התשלום נשארים אצל החנות ואינם נחשפים אלינו.
שרתי Firebase עשויים להיות ממוקמים מחוץ לישראל (לרבות בארה"ב ובאיחוד האירופי). ההעברה נעשית לספקים המחויבים לסטנדרטים מקובלים של הגנת מידע, בהתאם לתקנות הגנת הפרטיות (העברת מידע אל מאגרי מידע שמחוץ לגבולות המדינה).
אנו מיישמים אמצעי אבטחה מקובלים: הצפנת תעבורה (TLS), בקרת גישה באמצעות חוקי הרשאה ברמת מסד הנתונים (כך שרק אתם - ושותפכם, לגבי תוכן משותף - יכולים לגשת לתכנים), ואימות משתמשים באמצעות Firebase Authentication. עם זאת, אין מערכת חסינה לחלוטין, ואיננו יכולים להתחייב לאבטחה מוחלטת. במקרה של אירוע אבטחה מהותי נפעל בהתאם לחובותינו על פי דין.
המידע נשמר כל עוד החשבון פעיל. מחקתם רשומה - היא נמחקת ממסד הנתונים הפעיל. מחקתם את החשבון (פרופיל ← מחיקת חשבון) - פרטי החשבון והתוכן האישי שלכם נמחקים, למעט מידע שאנו מחויבים לשמור לפי דין או הנדרש להגנה מפני תביעות, ולמעט עותקי גיבוי טכניים הנמחקים במחזור הגיבויים הרגיל. ניתן גם לפנות אלינו בבקשת מחיקה בכתובת שלמעלה.
בהתאם לחוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א-1981 (ולמשתמשים באיחוד האירופי - בהתאם ל-GDPR), עומדות לכם, בין היתר, הזכויות הבאות:

השירות מיועד לבגירים (18+) במסע הורות. איננו אוספים ביודעין מידע מקטינים. נודע לנו שנאסף מידע מקטין - נמחק אותו.
נעדכן מדיניות זו מעת לעת. הגרסה המעודכנת תפורסם בעמוד זה עם תאריך העדכון; שינוי מהותי יובא לידיעתכם באפליקציה. המשך שימוש לאחר העדכון מהווה הסכמה למדיניות המעודכנת.

Chapter One is an emotional journaling app for pregnancy and surrogacy journeys, shared between partners (the "App" or the "Service"). We know the content you write here is among the most personal there is - which is why your privacy sits at the core of the Service. This policy explains what data is collected, for what purposes, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and what your rights are. This policy is an integral part of our Terms of Service.
Providing data is voluntary - you are not obligated to provide it, but without it we may be unable to provide some or all of the Service.

Please note: by the nature of the Service, journal content may include sensitive information - including information about health, pregnancy, fertility, and emotional state. This information is stored solely to display your content to you (and to your partner, if you chose to share), and we make no other use of it.
We do not collect your location, do not show ads, do not use your data for targeted marketing, and do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Entries you mark "Shared" are visible to your partner in your group. Entries marked "Just me" remain completely private - even your partner cannot see them. Once you have shared an entry and your partner has viewed it, it may not be practically possible to un-disclose its content.
Your data is stored and processed in Google's Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Storage, and FCM notifications) on secure infrastructure. Google acts solely as our data processor, under the Firebase Privacy Policy. If you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers process your sign-in credentials under their own policies. Beyond these, we do not transfer personal data to third parties, except where required by law or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of users.
AI advisors. If you choose to use the AI advisors, your messages - together with relevant context from your journey (journey details, your own entries, and entries your partner marked "Shared"; never your partner's private entries) - are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, solely to generate the response. Anthropic acts solely as our data processor, does not use this content to train its models, and retains it only for a limited period under its API terms. Please note: if you use the AI advisors on your content, entries you marked "Just me" may also be sent to the AI provider to generate the response - they remain invisible to your partner, but are not "kept with you only" while you use the AI. Using the AI advisors is optional; if you do not use them, none of your content is sent to the AI provider.
Paid subscriptions. If you purchase a subscription, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as our subscription-infrastructure provider to manage subscriptions and validate purchases. RevenueCat receives a user identifier and store transaction identifiers to manage your subscription status, and acts solely as our data processor. Billing itself is performed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own privacy policies; payment-method details stay with the store and are never disclosed to us.
Firebase servers may be located outside Israel (including in the US and the EU). Transfers are made to providers committed to accepted data-protection standards, in accordance with applicable data-transfer regulations.
We apply accepted security measures: encryption in transit (TLS), access control via database-level security rules (so that only you - and your partner, for shared content - can access your content), and user authentication via Firebase Authentication. However, no system is completely immune, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a material security incident we will act in accordance with our legal obligations.
Data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete an entry, it is removed from the active database. If you delete your account (Profile → Delete account), your account details and personal content are deleted - except data we are required to retain by law or that is needed to defend against legal claims, and except technical backup copies that expire in the ordinary backup cycle. You may also email us a deletion request at the address above.
Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (and, for EU users, under the GDPR), you have, among others, the following rights:

The Service is intended for adults (18+) on a parenthood journey. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that data was collected from a minor, we will delete it.
We will update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date; material changes will be communicated in the App. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
